Refund policy

Returns Policy

At Home Lab Store we want to ensure that you love your purchase and are happy with the size and colour as we understand that purchasing online can sometimes be tricky. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please return it to us within 14 days of receipt of the product/s (exclusions below) . 

Items purchased online can be returned online here

or 

by emailing Sales@homelabstore.co.nz with your order number and details about the return and if your return is accepted we will provide you with the instructions on where to send your package.

Once an order has been placed online, you cannot cancel the order, as goods are often shipped the same day.

For full-price items, we refund, provided that the product/s are in original condition and are accompanied with the original packaging and receipt. 

Linen

Linen must be returned in the same condition it was sent out to you. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item is not returned in re-saleable condition (this would be the condition you received it in). Please especially ensure pets and pet hair do not come into contact with the product and that it is kept in a smoke-free environment while it is in your care.

Furniture

For Furniture, we charge a 10% restocking fee to cover the associated admin and logistics costs then provide store credit. In some cases this may include pre-orders that have not yet shipped; Furniture needs to be returned in its all its original packaging in as new condition. 

Wire Furniture

We don't do change of mind returns for wire furniture

Sale Items

For sale items brought on sale (inc sitewide sales), we can only offer refunds if the product is faulty. All sale returns will be issued with store credit.

Clearance or Outlet Sales

For Items in the Outlet or Clearance sales, we cannot offer exchanges or refunds, unless the product is faulty. All sale purchases are final.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs to return an item are at the customer's expense unless the item is faulty. Shipping and handling charges are only refunded if the original item is incorrect or faulty. Please Please Please use use a tracked courier when returning items:)

All trade sales are excluded from returns policy
